A lot of people thought that A Modest Proposal was sincere and as I mentioned to another of the wooshed complainers, people who didn't get it share The Onion articles as if they were real news all the time.
If satire is TOO obvious, it loses its edge. If it's easy to be understood immediately by those actively wanting it to be sincere, it's not good satire, so I guess you only like bad satire like Babylon Bee or whatever equivalent fits your politics better 🙄
