Is that different between instances? On lemmy.world there's a little [-] to the right of the commenter's name you can click to collapse the thread below that point. It's a bad place for it, but it works.

Yep it took me a while to figure out too. The android app just lets you click on the comment as well to collapse
On jerboa you just tap the comment

Honestly I personally prefer Kbin anyways,
also thanks for the script, its pretty neatNo prob. It even works on mobile. If you look on my page there’s a couple other scripts for dark mode. One for web(also android) and another for iOS
