"impersonating" a police officer. Yup, on the largest protest day ever. No need to think more about it. Surely it wouldn't be an actual cop using a scapegoat, nope .
If we don't know who did it, how do we know it was impersonation??
Well they found the vehicle and it was a non-police vehicle disguised as police. So while this doesn’t 100% rule out it being police, it seems a reasonable inference.
Suuuuuure. And next you will tell me no authoritarian government uses fake emergency vehicles.

The suspect in the assassination and attempted assassination of two Minnesota lawmakers has been identified as Vance Boelter, two law enforcement officials briefed on the case tell CNN.
Boelter is 57 years old and according to a law enforcement official, he works for a security company, Praetorian Guard Security. The company website says that Boelter serves as the director of security patrols and has had training by people in the US military.

I’m just gonna say. Might the suspect have been a police officer? I wouldn’t trust the police to disclose that.
I mean if they are wearing a uniform and emerged from a cop car as eyewitness accounts suggest…
The gunman was still at large, law enforcement said on Saturday, and the city of Brooklyn Park was still under a shelter-in-place order. The shooter was impersonating a police officer, dressed in a uniform that would appear to be real to most people, police said.
“They did drive a vehicle that looked exactly like an SUV squad car,” Brooklyn Park’s police chief, Mark Bruley, said at a press conference. “It was equipped with lights, emergency lights, that looked exactly like a police vehicle, and yes, they were wearing a vest with Taser, other equipment, a badge very similar to mine, that, no question, if they were in this room, you would assume that they are a police officer.”
