The two announced a ceasefire and then, never actually ceased firing. So yeah, I'll agree that a fake ceasefire was never a possibility under Biden, because he would never have gone along with it.
Also, the reports are still saying that Harris was not a fan of Biden's policy on Israel. So yes, the worse option is so much fuck worse than the alternative. The worse option is speedrunning the genocide, trying for a new record of innocents killed in the shortest timeframe.
