Or you could just use zig which is better at compiling C than C (the second it supports the espressif chips I'm never touching C again)
Once you incorporate networking, you’ve lost me. I’d rather implement ed on a billion NAND chips. Soldering is enjoyable and physical; networking gives me aneurysms.
