I’ve never wanted kids.
Life changed a lot right as we both were turning 40. Family members died, I finally had a good job, we moved out of one of the most expensive cities in the US.
Now we have a 7 year old and life is very different, some better some worse, but mostly different.
Things change.
stable and high income, plus a home.
Funny thing is we lost both those right before the pandemic and are now living with and caring for the remaining parent who’s losing his mind.
We might have ended up in the same place without our child, but it’s been more fun with them than either of us imagined.
