Wait. What if I'm a millennial that doesn't want to leave my house and spends all day consuming garbage content? I won't go so far as to say brainrot, but it's not really benefiting me in any way.
Though I will say I do like a good IPA but am not limited to IPA.

I don't drink at all and consume my fair share of garbage content, and I consumed way more when I was younger. I also don't like going out, probably because I'm pretty introverted and going out w/ friends takes energy, so I save that for more special occasions like birthdays. My typical evening is playing video games, working on side projects, or reading a book.
That's exactly my stance too, tbh. I used to be extremely extroverted 10+ years back. I'd hit bars and just meet some really cool people. I'm a friendly drinker- sometimes a bit to oversharing, but better than angry. I'd talk to anyone with no fear and made a lot of great friends and acquaintances that way.
Now I probably drink once every couple months because I live by my sister and she has a big back lot with a fire pit. She has to literally pull my teeth to get me out, though. They probably party every other week and even that is just too much for me.
I'd much rather have a quiet day booting up modded Minecraft and playing with my gf on local lan, writing my book, or cuddling up with dinner and watching a movie.
