I wouldn't doubt that either but white isn't quite as inclusive as people may think. There's levels to white to racists which is weird by itself.
So to be clear, I believe the person is referring to the recent case of a German (white dude, electrical engineer iirc) who got picked up and treated so poorly during detention that he had to be hospitalized. The article I saw specifically mentioned the Immigration fuckwits encouraging him to get rid of his green card.
