The government actually limits how much each manufacturer is allowed to produce, that's the actual cause of the shortage.
13 0 Replythis right there. actual synthesis is pretty easy, reliable, well developed no matter if we're talking about amphetamine or methylphenidate
5 0 ReplyThen it's a pretty dick move to try and cheat with it isn't it?
2 0 ReplyDude people are gonna do drugs either way. Whether it's a dick move or not. It doesn't matter
2 0 ReplyThey aren't even actually good for cheating on tests. I'd understand if they were getting high.
1 0 ReplyHow is it cheating?
1 0 ReplyPeople are trying to use them like performance enhancing drugs for academia. But of course, they don't work like that for normal people.
1 0 ReplyI guess, but aren't we using it as 'performance enhancing' to be on the same level as other people? Like glasses. If someone who didn't need glasses wore special glasses that helped them see better, would it be cheating? Maybe, actually. I'm not sure lol
1 0 ReplyI'm not talking about people with ADHD. These are normal people trying to do this even though studies show it doesn't work that way for normal people.
1 0 ReplyYeah, and it allows them to focus for longer than usual, they don't have the same calming effects as us, but there are performance benefits at the right dose for anyone (even non adhd folk)
1 0 ReplyThe research doesn't support that though.
1 0 ReplyI mean, clearly they're using it for a reason right? They wouldn't be seeking them out if it didn't do something good for their studying.
