I should really finally play the original trilogy.
You really should. It's amazing, and the remastered trilogy is available on pretty much everything (PC, current and previous gen consoles, iPhone, Android).
I have it on Steam! I just have a huge backlog so I haven't gotten to it.
Good thing with it is the way it's structured, you can enjoy it like a TV series. It contains three games with 4 cases each (5 for the first game), divided in one to three days, so you can play an in-game day every day (around an hour of real time).
It's really worth it. I finally got around to playing Ace Attorney 5 after buying it almost 10 years ago. Somehow I still remember everything from the first 4 even though I hadn't played them in a decade. Great story, and incredibly memorable characters.
I thought Ace Attorney was Nintendo second party, so I'm shocked that it's available for mobile. I'll check it out
