Banning for reporting content on Lemmy is a dickish move that will result in people not reporting anything.

I thought this would need to be discussed more as more and more mods ban for reports.

I mod several communities and would really prefer people over-report stuff, instead of ignoring it.

Overall, I feel that this is just straight up power abuse tactic. It will harm the other communities overall on Lemmy, as people get used to not reporting anything.
