I have 2 tortoises and their terrarium is in a separate room in our apartment. However, I can't get this room cold enough in the winter for them to sleep so I was thinking about storing them in the shed. With current climate change however our winters don't get cold enough anymore so I'm afraid the shed won't either. Now I'm thinking about getting a small table top fridge for them to sleep in. I can put it on my desk and store some cans of drink in there as well :D
I see where you are coming from but I personally like Disability Pride. I have schizo affective disorder, Fibromyalgia and Ehlers Danlos syndrome. My mind and body are a dumpster fire on the best of day's but I feel pride in my body never giving up and always doing its best despite everything wrong with it. I feel pride for my mind continuing to fight, sometimes for literal survival.
Your disabilities might not be something to feel proud of, but the fact you continue to live and function as much as you can, is.
Works for me. Every evening at 10 I need to take my meds. I feed my cats their dinner right after. At 9.50 they all come to where I am and start demanding food. I never forget my meds.
Since i've become an adult and have my own house to clean, I really get this lady. There is so much dust! its everywhere. I will spend the entire day dusting every surface and the next day its all back again. Dust takes up so much time of my life. However, cover everything in pretty cloths and once a week you can just gather it up, wash it, and done. Sorry im not German.
I was told I didn't need medication for my bipolar disorder, all I needed was to follow a Keto diet.
I did try keto during one of my manic episodes once. Ended up talking to God. I'm an atheist.
Thats how I got married. Asked some guy I knew on msn messenger to help me with my computer problem. He got really upset and ranted about people only reaching out to him cause they needed their computer fixed and never to ask how he was doing. So I asked him how he was doing. Married for nearly 20 years now.
