I have been around those feelings and know to take them seriously.

I looked into this previously for someone I know who felt similarly. Dignitas seemed viable and they registered there as a first step in the process. Before having to take further steps, this person managed to find enough stability not to have to go through with it, so I don't know what would have been required beyond that. I hope ever so much that you, too, will find a way forward in life despite it feeling impossible at the moment.

The point of this sub is to be supportive. A safe space for auties/Aspies to state their experiences. My experience is that the NTs I've encountered frequently impose artificial time pressure based on their own internal vibes rather than genuine constraints, and either don't know or don't care if the information on which they expect a decision to be made is insufficient.

IIUC, it’s not so simple: her hands are tied due to For Women Scotland Ltd v The Scottish Ministers.

You may have overlooked it, but in the middle of the interview she recommended gender-neutral (unisex) toilets as the best solution all round. That’s what Greggs and Costa and dozens of other organisations already provide. If more of the UK follows suit, that would actually be a small but valuable victory against anti-trans discrimination.

Unfortunately, that is not my experience.

the question isn't "do I think this person will without a doubt be our top employee" or "WILL this person succeed" ... the question is "Given the information at hand, do I think there is a higher likelihood of the person succeeding or struggling?" [...] If I say yes, and they hire the person, and they don't fit at the company, I can still just point to "they answered all the interview questions properly" and it's not my fault things went poorly.

This is an instance of your case 1, which is not really what this thread is about.

This is the most common case and the crux of the issue: who judges reasonableness? Neurotypicals/ADDers are usually unreasonably (ahem) impatient, compared to Aspies.

Rather than wait a minute (or hour, day, week, month, whatever) for a sound conclusion that is known to be forthcoming, they want an unsound conclusion now.

Faced with this, one should explicitly acknowledge the shortfall and explicitly assign weights to the information that is known, concordant with its accuracy and relevance, to reach whichever conclusion is most strongly justifiable.
