  • Sweet! Always nice to have more options. Hope you have a good weekend too, Demigodrick

  • This card is nuts and is going to see play until it rotates and probably in older formats too. Probably enables rakdos sac all on its own, now that Bart is not the only game in town. Sephiroth may become a top tier contender

  • Doesn't seem like it no. FF had some really good pieces and there were a few in Tarkir but yeah, definitely not as supported.

  • Huh. Lots of safety checks on that last ability. Wish they at least let it be used for activated abilities

  • The line I immediately thought of too :)

  • Probably not this card but the rare/mythic Void cards might be severely undercosted if they can be enabled turn 2 or 3. Generous Plunderer or the blue Siren maybe

  • Non land makes a big difference vs Revolt. Treasure could combo well with Void

  • Lots of people around me use the term 'climate chaos' regularly. Probably for similar reasons

  • Shatter Fate

    Jump
  • Very cool. I think it would somehow be broken. Only thing I could think of was Ketramose which doesnt work too well on 2nd glance but there's gotta be some way to break it in legacy

  • Oh wow. I guess the strategy of putting chase lands in "expected not to sell very well" sets continues. These plus the verges might lead to some multicolor piles again in standard.

The surveil lands are rotating out this year, right?

  • Cool, I'll be sure to subscribe over there once it is set up.

  • Thanks for your hard work over the last couple weeks, Demigodrick. So many new zippers!

  • Some do. I like positioning on a grid as a part of combat. It rewards tight play and understanding the mechanics. When I DM though, it depends on the playgroup. I think most people prefer guesstimating and just applying the rule of cool

  • I agree that alternative objectives are huge. Have some of the enemies be charmed friendlies and there is a cost to killing them. A portal that discharges high level monsters until a device is deactivated. A Darkness emitter is spreading, covering more of the battlefield every round and the enemies have Blindsight. A mage casts Wall of Stone down the center of the battlefield, splitting the fight. Some monsters have built in mini-objectives, like Hydras or Zombies

  • We do federate with HB at .zip. No defederations from major instances.

  • You won't be able subscribe or see the posts of communities there and you also won't see the comments left by users from those instances on any post. I like .zip because it doesn't defederate much but instead applies a "default blocklist" for new accounts, which are removable. However, as the other commenter mentioned, .zip is not accessible in the UK due to their ridiculous online liability laws.

  • Yeah I agree, I didn't know that was an option but it's a fine compromise. I don't usually like "default enabled", opt-outs, though when Facebook or Microsoft do it they're not transparent like this. Usually the vast majority of software users never even review the default settings but Lemmy might be different due to its user base

  • If your display settings don't show the full username, there's no way to tell really. Voyager and Alexandrite show then by default. I think people just like to root for teams inherently and the interinstance drama is kind of fun. If you're on Lemmy a lot you start to recognize people and their main instance, there really aren't that many of us.

  • Welcome everyone! .zip has an amazing admin team and excellent monthly updates. I landed here pretty fast after leaving R and have never felt any reason to set up an account anywhere else. If you like it after a few months, you should donate - I imagine a few hundred more active users might be some increase to resource needs.
