I think they knew that always. It's just not good for selling the product. That's the problems with LLMs, they are designed to give you the most likely answer, not the most correct answer, because that's mich harder to train for.

Imagine you where in their shoes and you do value human life. What would you realistically do? Honest question, I'd like to think I'd do something different then them, but I can not think of a way that does not cut ties completely. I think the best I could do, is secretly support opposition behind the scenes, not sure how much of that is happening though.

Make a new party for which the only policy point is to change the voting system.

Say "vote for us and we change the voting system and the immediately resign and make way for a new vote".

But the people don't want that, because they get played against each other.

I think for a lot of them, they don't agree with most of his policies, but as CEO of such big companies you can not openly oppose him. They would lose a fortune, so instead they try to get the most out of it for their company.

Also, you gotta see it from their view. They are stuck with him now for 3 more years. In 3 years AI will keep getting bigger and may change a lot, loosing those 3 years because of trying to make a stand, might mean lossing your position on the table and your influence on its development completely.

All that said, I'm not saying it's good that that's what they are doing, but I can see some strategy in doing it like that

Fände das allgemein auch zum selber ein Blick drauf halten viel einfacher wenn das in Gram drauf stehen muss. So wie es halt bei Makronährstoffen auch ist. Wenn ich mehr Protein essen will, steht genau auf allem drauf wie viel gram es hat. Beim Alkohol muss ich erstmal nen Dreisatz ausrechnen.

Nfts never really had any use in the first place. Ai and LLMs does have a lot of fields where it will be used and expanded on, how much depends a lot on how it keeps developing.

But current state LLMs already can change a lot, but it will take years to be implemented widespread. Think of all the things that are still not digital at all
