  • Nah man, you have to cool all the grain that was store in there.

  • Good research. I will definitely put these in my research list. Something that also comes up a lot is https://castlesy.com/ but apparently is just for USA castles. I'll save that for the weekends.

  • Very cool! I wish this was available on a global scale.

  • If diarrhea is so great, why did they never make a diarrhea 2?

    This game:

  • thanks, satan.

  • Indeed, I get pale shadows in the US.

  • Wow, a downvote in my extremely niche community. I feel like I've finally made it.

  • I'm adding a small exception to the rule "content must refer to a real-life structure": Reasonable exceptions include media showcasing period life and technology that somehow relates to castles.

I wanted to include the ability to post books or infographics that go over how castles were made and used but might not refer to any specific castle.

  • I am a mod (and main poster) at c/castles and include an OSM link with all my posts.

  • Thanks, dogg. I was able to read it just fine, but I appreciate the engagement.

  • Yep, I know of certain communities that used it very often. It was pretty much the place to go if you wanted to talk tabletop RPG. That's why I'm really counting on the Fediverse. Find your clan, build interest in what you're interested in, and not get enshittified and/or shut down by the whims of corp execs.

  • You should read DBZ Multiverse if you haven't. Not exactly what you're talking about here, but close.

  • So get this, I've been slowly injecting random characters into my posts. Just every day that I think about it I go through my history and ctrl+shift+9 to get a random string from Bitwarden and plug it in for a page of posts. I figured it might not look like a mass delete/replace as much as a scripted one is, and doesn't take me much time.

However, I just noticed today that I can now only view 6 years of my old post history, while I've been posting for 12 years. this wasn't like this earlier this week. I can even find 11 year old posts if I know what specifically to look for. I've even tried with the newer web interface and my history cuts off at 6 years.

They're definitely onto us, even people doing it slowly.

  • Haha, whatever though. Mord is a game where few of us will play it forever while many shrug or rage quit. Kind of fits the question anyway.

By the way, be sure to stop by the community someone just made: https://lemm.ee/c/mordhau@lemmy.ml Only one post, but I plan to at least post stuff I find on the regular.

  • ctrl+p gang RISE UP

  • @heartlessevil@lemmy.one linked to the source, looks like there's no way at the moment. Let's hope that changes soonish.

  • Ah thanks, that does look very much on the crawl side of crawl-walk-run. Hopefully the devs understand the urgency of discoverability.

  • I agree that not many sites will ever again fumble and fuck it up as large as Digg did.
