Do you believe ghosts are possible? If not, what do you think people's experiences of ghosts actually are?
  • I've experienced multiple paranormal events in my life that I, or my family, were never able to explain. However I don't think they were "ghosts" in a sense that they are spirits of the dead walking around my house. My best guess is that paranormal activity is just a phenomenon that occurs when thin spots in the space/time fabric show up and cause multiple realties to exist in the same spot simultaneously. So what you are seeing is other people, or even yourself, in another reality or time. Then similar to a bad TV signal you sometimes get a crystal clear picture with sound, and other times it's all broken up and you have to interpret it through the static.

How do these things spots show up? No clue. But in a universe where black holes, and other similar things, are possible it is a lot more believable to me than ghosts or demons being the culprit.

  • What game do you wish you could play again for the first time?
  • Metal Gear Solid and TLOZ Ocarina of Time. I have always been really into video games but before those two it was all fighting games and platformers for me. After those two games I understood that video games are just as much an art form as movies and music. Funny how they both came out within weeks of each other.

  • What famous people have you seen IRL?
  • I met Bruce Campbell at a book signing about 23 years ago. He was just as charming and funny in person as the characters he played. Very friendly and willing to talk for a bit with each fan. A real stand up guy all around.

  • I agree they are selfish but I'd be cautious assuming they are stupid. That is how we got where we are today. We assumed their stupidity and incompetence would be their undoing but the past 9 years have shown us that assumption was wrong.

It's not that they are stupid they just don't care about being a hypocrite.

  • US inflation unexpectedly increases
  • The "middle class" was just a scam our ruling class came up with to make us feel like we're not at the bottom rung of the social economic ladder so we wouldn't riot over being taken advantage of for decades. In reality there are only two classes the extremely rich and the poor.

  • Former Arkane designer says Dishonored 2 cost more to make than Skyrim, and while it didn't meet Bethesda's sales expectations, the series' reputation still 'saved the studio'
  • I agree. I'm playing through part 2 right now, as I just finished part 1 a few days ago. I have to say so far part 2 is really good but it's just lacking something that part 1 had. I think my biggest issue is Corvo having a voice. I didn't think it would bother me but considering he is totally silent in the first game, him talking to himself in part 2 is just jarring. I probably should have played as Emily instead.

  • Refuse
  • Absolutely! Unfortunately they're will be sacrifices and some of those sacrifices might be leaders in the resistance group. That will sometimes hurt the cause and other times it could benefit the cause.

  • Refuse
  • True but we're not just talking about one martyr. It would be dozens if not hundreds. Much more difficult to keep a lid on it.

I guess it depends on the individual and what they want out of life? If the goal is to just survive then pretending to go along is probably for the best. I suppose when talking about revolution anything that slows down the machine is beneficial
