seriously. i was walking her, on a leash, in my complex and another couple and their golden not on a leash come from the other direction and said "don't worry he's friendly" and i said "she hates dogs, you might want to hold him" and sure enough they did nothing to heel their dog and he got in my dog's face and got a nipping for the trouble. that poor dog
i'm annoyed by people who thinks all dogs are automatically best buddies with all other dogs
thanks i'll give it another shot. i am weird in that i'll DNF something and then give it another try later on and end up loving it. mostly books and video games, but we'll see about shows
i tried lower decks more than once, and really wanted to like it, but just couldn't develop any giveashit about what happens next. does it get any better? or does it stay similar to the first few episodes?
the thing about propaganda is that it's not meant to be accurate, factual, or even logical. it's to modify people's behavior based on their emotional response. you can see the effectiveness in literally everything the GOP says, writes, publishes, etc. their base eats it up like hogs at the trough while everyone else sits around still trying to convince them that last month's lies were a "false equivalent"
of course the business model is to get people so addicted that they can't be convinced to leave, as in facebook and twitter. the "hey, shoving it down people's throat isn't making them want more of it" realization should have come quite a while ago
