  • Estonia, been worse been better. Yeah food prices have increased over the last few years, price of tech has increased as much as in rest of the world and so has the price of many luxury goods, but those are luxury goods. Not that necessary and can be easily replaced or even avoided.

Our eastern neighbor is kinda pain in my assholes, but they have always been there.

But in overall, kinda good actually, though that mostly comes from personal life not from world wide issues. Making my own little bubble enjoyable for me. Not much else i can do.

  • Probably all of those, because it's really unlikely that aliens have come to earth and even less likely that an advanced civilization capable of interstellar travel, would ever get busted.

  • Of course not. The ones that cant upgrade are just forced to a new frame measuring scale, called FPM.

  • That's not related only to windows themes. It's an overall design shift. Cars, phones, businesses, PC parts, everything has been shifting towards this adult, boring, sleek, corporate, uniform, grey look.

  • Well, at least it's going to have a positive impact on the obesity epidemic.

  • Yeah i do agree that it should be still done, even if just to keep ones surroundings cleaner, just the pretending that it has a notable impact is disingenuous, kinda annoying and misdirects attention from things that can have at least some impact, aka yeah voting.

  • Then it's understandable. Muted is the default so i completely missed that part.

  • But why choose to be an enemy?

All that does is gets an drone strike called on their location and it absolutely doesn't matter whatever it was done by a man or a women, black or white or just a line of code run in a server farm that determined their probabilistic location.

Wanting to be in their unit would likely offer a bigger chance of doing something or at least not getting killed by them.

  • From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me.

  • Well yeah, but posting just a text or at least a picture would have been slightly better.

Though i completely agree, it sucks.

I can't even watch random videos some friends send me from time to time because it soft forces to make an account and download said social medias app. I've literally said to multiple friends that there's no point to send funny videos from some places as i cant watch those anymore.

  • So basically any effort a single individual has done and can do in the future to reduce their footprint has been undone by 100x. Why are we even bothering?

  • Barbells and dumbells. Sometimes machines as well.

  • Just throw it into the ever growing pile of data trash. At least human produced data trsah took less resources.

  • I was on my last warning, maybe they ramp up scrutiny then or they have just ramped it up recently. But yeah that was the post that was linked when they gave the reason for a ban and It was rather fast as well. Less than few minutes after upvoting. I was still in that thread trying to explain other person what R1 was.

  • Same, broke R1 and the last breaking of it was rather vague link. I just upvoted a comment that made fun of R1 under a post showing child abuse. Turns out that goes under it as well.

  • I finally got banned from Reddit and by now they have rather effective methods to detect ban evasion.

  • No. Never had that drive or reason that would push me to go talk with random strangers. I'm completely fine being on my own.

Honestly i really like that social media stopped or at least significantly reduced others doing it as well, it was always kinda annoying.

  • Skill issue, just gotta get a bigger phone. One of those rugged bomb proof ones.

  • Understood. Beatings shall continue until morale improves.
