  • Genius idea

  • Well yeah, i might be good enough at it in a week or two, but the autistic side of me absolutely hates routine change, new environments and surprises.

  • Not really, there are maybe a handful of pictures of me scattered online over the course of 15+ years and even if there would be access to absolutely all the pictures that have been taken of me, including physical ones in my own home. It wouldn't likely be enough to create believable up to date deepfake.

So it would be rather hard to create believable deepfakes of me and the payoff would be nonexistent. So I'm in a really really low risk group for it.

Though the technology itself is scary and I've taken the approach of assuming most things online to be fake until proven otherwise.

  • Nah, permanently fucked. Nothing to do to fix this unit. Just accept it's flaws and move on.

  • Not even that, at least calculator gets math right.

  • That's good to know. I've never really eaten food for the emotional factor and have absolutely no issues eating the same thing in row for years, already been doing it for my breakfast for my whole life.

Fiber tip is good, probably have to supplement it then.

    Thank you for the information.

  • Probably making up the difference in the number of customers. Veganism is still a minority, depending on sources 1-3%(highest in inda up to 9%) of the population.

So running a restaurant and focusing only on a small minority might not be that sustainable if there aren't enough people on the area or there is too high competition.

Adding in the general cost of life increases over the last few years reducing the number of potential customers as well.

And it kinda makes sense why restaurants are moving away from exclusively serving some specific group.

  • The classical.

  • But that's why most of those changes fail. Too big, too suddenly, requiring willpower to keep those running and that's a rather limited resource.Focusing on slight nudges over the course of a longer time frame seems to be more effective.

  • Oh, so that's why it seemed odd.

  • Thanks. I'll fix it.

  • Printing machine operator for medium runs, specializing in label.

Actually having a physical representation of the work I've done and that i can do it on muscle memory by now. The routine and pay is kinda good as well and that at the end of my shift, i will raise my hands up and just walk out and for the next 16h it's not my problem.

Though the worst part about it, is kinda bad. It's in 3 shifts that rotate weekly. After 13 years, i no longer have any circadian rhythm or natural hormonal cycle left. I've been regulating that manually for years.

  • Me_irl

  • No, you're supposed to do this.

  • I wish you good luck. Hopefully everything goes well.

  • Deficiencies can happen whatever it's due to lifestyle or some other issues and as the body has evolved to function best when all the hormones are in some certain range. Too low is kinda bad as well. That's why we have medically supervised testosterone replacement therapy.

All those supplements are completely useless, just a marketing trick and preying on insecurities.

Best non-medical boosters are balanced diet, healthy bodyweight, exercising, good sleep, minimizing stress, and getting some sun.

As the other person said, testosterone itself doesn't cause baldness, some of it gets converted to DHT and that exasperates exacerbates any genetic predisposition to balding. If a guys whole family line had luscious hair until old age, then it's very unlikely to cause any balding.

  • Noup, i have enough patience to go on with my life and wait comfortably in my home for a sale or at least when the bigger rush has passed over. Most of those rushes pass in a few weeks and few weeks are almost no time at all.

  • I have thought about veganism, but then i go to the store and see the price and meager choice with vegan replacements and give up. It seems to be easier to just take the cheaper and more abundant base ingredients to cover the bodies base needs.Luckily unflavored chicken breast and lean cuts of pork(heavily depends on the quality) are amongst the cheapest meats and can be bought in bulk during a sale. Adding in some carb source(potatoes, rice, buckwheat, pasta, quick oats), some greens(paprika, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, garlic), some dairy products and the basic nutritional needs seem to be covered well enough and cheaply.

As for mushrooms, honestly i can't recall when i ate those last time. I remember from childhood that I really didn't like those, yeah those were kinda odd to eat. But as an adult i seem to have been subconsciously avoiding those.

  • "From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine. "

But to answer your question. Yes, chemical/hormonal enhancements do seem to go under transhumanism as well as genetic modification isn't possible yet or at least as a reliable enough method.

While i am a huge supporter for transhumanism, i am not a republican. I just hate the failing weak meatsuit filled with flaws we're forced to operate.

"Your kind cling to your flesh, as though it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal… Even in death I serve the Omnissiah."

  • Primarily it was fatty parts or ligaments of meat. Basically everything besides lean meat. It did create somewhat of retching reaction. It did reduce over the years and as i can choose what type of meat i eat myself nowadays, it's not as big of an issue.

Biggest issue is generally efficiency. Any food that requires way too much effort to eat isn't really worth it. Like chicken wings, that stuff is primarily bones and ligaments, minimal edible tissue. Completely pointless food. Chicken breast, much better, it's primarily lean meat.

Not only limited to meats. Like oranges, the peeling of those makes those worthless to eat.

  • Yeah, still waiting those meal pills or at least all in one superfood.

I know there's Huel, but it does seem to get some pushback and I can't figure out is it legitimate or not. Like whatever it's just based on emotional relationships to food and most people unable to eat the same thing more than few times in row or is it actually legitimately missing some crucial nutrients and would cause issues in the long term.
