  • I don't really have an issue with where their morality lands, but moreso how quickly and extremely it changes. The characters feel like their morality is assigned to them rather than developed.

    Also

  • I thought this movie had a good premise. I was describing it to my wife under the guise of a movie that I didn't really like, but ironically, as I described the major plot points, it sounded like a great movie. However I just think ultimately the plot is too predictable, and some of the dialogue is a bit too on the nose. Also the way the two main characters seem to switch moral positions so easily seems pretty inconsistent. The two main characters really have the least interesting story imo. The bodyguard's subplot also seems completely unnecessary since the themes it covers are a subset of the husband's subplot.

TL;DR interesting premise with subpar execution.

  • I wouldn't worry about that. Adam Driver is a way better actor than the Rock and has a way better filmography. I mean, when you're doing movies like Jumanji, Rampage, Fast and Furious, and Jungle Cruise, you're aiming for lucrative short term relevance.

  • Dread sold 3 million copies. Mario Odyssey sold 25 million copies. BotW sold 31 million. MK8 sold 58 million copies (just the Switch version). Metroid is absolutely not a system seller, and they will not push it as such.

  • Unfortunately Metroid is not really a system seller for Nintendo. Is always Mario or Zelda

  • It is hard to 100% but not to finish the story.

  • Also if you're looking to make a job out of it, Python will lead you to job opportunities that are imo much more satisfying than JS.

  • I always prescribe learning Python over basically any other language (unless you're gonna start doing some real low-level computing). It's a much more relevant and popular language. C# isn't irrelevant, you'll just see Python used way more often. Python will also compliment JS much more.

  • Examples?

Abraham, the OG benificiary of the covenant with God, lies about his wife twice. Moses kills an Egyptian. These are all things that the Commandments explicitly mark as immoral behaviors. Obviously the success the figures experienced also had nothing to do with their own ability, e.g. Moses did not part the Red Seas by himself.

Except in Mark and the Q source.

The first verse of Mark calls him the Son of God. The Q source is also a purely hypothetical book, so while it technically doesn't say Jesus is the Son of God, it also doesn't say anything at all until it is actually found.

  • Not really. All of them are portrayed as doing things that Jewish culture would view unfavorably or immoral. God isn't exactly giving a stamp of approval to each action of these figures. Pretty much any time they do anything good it is because God enabled them to do it either through miraculous acts or by instructing them.

Also Jesus is considered the son of God throughout the entire New Testament. Maybe the word "perfect" isn't used, but he is portrayed as a model human being throughout. Otherwise his sacrifice wouldn't be able to serve it's purpose.

  • The entire (well most) Old Testament is the Jews constantly screwing up and doing terrible things while God continually face palms and fixes their mess. The whole reason Jesus is even on Earth is because there wasn't a single soul who could've been a model human being otherwise.

  • Anyone in the Bible who isn't Jesus isn't meant to be a role model. The Bible is in fact very clear about that.

  • After all, we have had some really good ones

    Super Mario... Dungeons and Dragons

Listen, I enjoyed both of these movies, but these are also the exact movies that OP is complaining about. These were made by the book. Almost 0 originality or innovation in them. Can't speak for the otherovies on your list as I haven't seen them.

  • I really like my Filco honestly. Very simple but nice feeling mechanical keyboards imo.

  • I think this one was great. The 2013 movie may have had more motional impact, the classic setting, and probably is overall a better movie, but this one feels like it embodies what "Evil Dead" is as a franchise much more. It would have been nice is the family was a bit more likable (the two older kids are these weird caricatures), but the lead and the younger kid are likable enough for me to root for them. I also think in terms of balancing comedy and horror, this is my sweet spot.

I've seen a couple people say this movie is boring. You don't have to like the movie, but I don't see how a movie where

  • That vector constructor still requires a default constructor for the class of the object contained by the vector, so it's the same issue but different context.

  • According to a friend of mine that is an employee, he shows up every now and then to throw a fit and go on firing-sprees.

  • Yeah, unfortunately vim is really for text editing, so if you're not doing that (writing a Google Doc is not text editing), you aren't going to see vim bindings/extensions supported/available in those cases.

The best you can hope for is to do something like here (not sure if it still works), but then you defeat the point of using Google Docs.

  • Honestly your best bet probably is to use Latex instead of word when possible and use Overleaf with vim bindings (however, these bindings aren't the best in the world). Of course, if you're working with others using Latex is probably a deal breaker.
