Lemmy Just Broke the 54k MAU Record Set During the 2023 API Exodus!
  • Idk it doesn't really feel different NGL

I haven't been using both Lemmy and mbin that long, just lurking mostly

And for that I don't have any problems

And the same way I used reddit, both I use for mobile. So apps make or break it. And the choice of Lemmy apps outshine the only app for mbin. Interstellar is good for mbin, but I just like thunder and sync more for myself.

I picked mbin for the combined threads posting like reddit and microblogging like twitter/masto but have to day I don't try to take advantage of that

On the other hand I'm looking forward to piefed maturing more. Since they have multireddit / combined topic community feeds

  • Valve reveals the gaming hours on Steam Deck during 2024 and they are staggering - Steam Deck has become one of the main gaming platforms and is starting to be treated as such
  • I don't like how that article doesn't have a source, but I found this article with a source from Valve.

I'm looking forward to the Legion Go S because at least that's a lot more likely to be sold officially in my country than the Steam Deck will. Also I think that more choice for officially supported Steam OS devices is on a whole good for consumers.

  • The fediverse promises social media without Big Tech – if it can avoid familiar pitfalls
  • I wonder if this forum comparison to make people join lemmy/mbin/piefed is a better story to tell than the email comparison? Because that's what made me realize I am fine being in the threadiverse instead of the email comparison. Lemmy is a bunch of forum sites than can talk with each other.
