Yeah, you’re not wrong I suppose. I have a sister in marketing and the budget does need to be bigger in that case, and like all companies, they want to squeeze where they can. With something as intangible as marketing, I can see where they’d be the first to get hit.

Though, my own, limited, experience with the marketing industry, it’s all about recognition, click through, and SEO, so, I see a world where it’s not particularly hard to cherry pick data and justify your existence.

Probably a little of both. At the end of the day, fuck ads. lol.

Not going to lie, marketing is one of those things that’s really hard to track. And or, a good marketing team is going to pull stats that mean nothing but sound impactful out of their ass.

I wouldn’t be shocked if, on average, companies could have a fraction of their marketing, however, the c-suite types, can take marketing mumbo jumbo and sell it to investors. A snake eating itself.

This is not the case, it’s the blue line you cannot cross until the puck has. If you attempt a pass from behind the redline, and no one on your team touches it, then, yes, it’s icing. So that you can’t just throw the puck out on defense.

Edit: just for the conversation, unless I was hunting, thinking about this, I think I would take my 9 into hog territory. I would rather be able to carry more, on a platform I’m more accurate with, with a firearm that can poke more holes than the other. I wouldn’t bring defense ammo, I would have solid core/+P ammo, but, for every reason 9mm is more effective against the human animal is exactly why I’d want it in defense against the wild animals. Sans, a bear, and maybe a large cat, but that’s an interesting thought experiment, cause I’m not sure any firearm is going to be all that helpful against a cat, unless I manage to startle the cat before the cat is hunting me.

Tangentially, I disagree with your .45 or 10mm as well. Ballistics have come a long way and unless you need to defend from bears, the 9mm is wonderful, lighter, cheaper, and has a higher carry capacity.

As someone with a basic background in IT, nothing advanced, but enough to be the “family tech guy”, I just bought my router(mesh network) what can I do? Where do I start? I think I may have messed up with my brand choice, being EERO, as they seem to have things locked into their proprietary app. I was sorta desperate for a quick fix at the time, didn’t do the due diligence I should have.

MREs are field supply rations, ie, to places you can’t get logistics. The navy is logistics, therefore, they don’t ship out with MREs. Iirc. I wasn’t in the navy.

Also, it seems insane to me that airsoft weapons need an orange tip in the USA, a country that famously makes it easy to own a real gun.

Given the prevalence of real guns, wouldn’t you want a defining feature? So, if you, hypothetically, see a bunch of teenagers running through the woods with “guns” you don’t call the police. (May or may not have happened to me in my youth.)

I agree with you, but, I am curious, what does a departure from the status quo mean to you? Is not supporting Israel enough? I tend to say a lot of the same things you have in conversations, but, then I go “I don’t really have any solutions though…” so I look like an idiot.
