At this point I wish EU would grow a spine and just put out a final post saying that at the very least they're moving all operations to BlueSky. It'd be amazing if they moved to Mastodon, but that's still a pipedream.

the eu has been on mastodon for years. they run their own instance.
- I was about to say that I would fully expect that any government entity should run their own instance of various federated services. And all departments/whatever should be on said instance. This would go for chrt platforms as well, such as matrix

And isn't the point of paying for ads to have a specific predetermined reach and for that reach to be independent of user interaction? I'm so confused.
