Is the undercurrent here that if these wealthy and powerful Russian oligarchs lose all their frozen assets because of this war, that Putin may find himself at risk of his own defenestration as the whole class of wealth bands together and buys his military and security staff out from underneath him?

Why not just kill all the oligarchs including Putin who are keeping this shit going? Its like a hundred guys or less. No more dead idiots on the front lines necessary, not on either side.
This would work. The people aren't behind this shit. Not enough to send their kids off to die. The only reason this war has gone on so long is a sacrifice to the sanctity of power, to the immunity of the fuckers who actually ruin the world.
