In Seattle during the BLM riots, the police launched tear gas canisters, calling them "less-than-lethal force."
The protesters who picked them up and threw them back got charged with Assault With a Deadly Weapon.

The very first thing these morons did in my city was shoot a pastor in the face with a pepper ball, at damn near point blank.
- That’s not a pepper ball gun, that a tear gas launcher. He took a tear gas canister to the face.
  
  Whatever it was, I’m reasonably sure that you’re not supposed to shoot the clergy in the face with it from 5 feet away.

  Yeah, this was when ICE deployed to the Bay Area a few weeks ago. Then they pulled out. I imagine the tech oligarchs pulled some strings.
