Ouroboros is a type of all you can eat
The other day I experimented using an AI to troubleshoot a laptop issue I was having. It produced a detailed step-by-step guide which essentially boiled down to: install this software from the AUR and then make this edit to a config file. Being healthily skeptical of AI, I first searched the AUR for the software, which didn't exist. I then went back to the AI and said "this doesn't exist." It then replied "You're absolutely right, that's not a real thing and editing the config file would do nothing."
The experiment has concluded.
Sometimes I have used AI to troubleshoot linux issues. Some of the times it's helpful in the sense that it searches the internet and pulls what people on the threads have already said, or it makes some nonsense up
Google being that guy in the comments saying "just Google it bro" instead of just giving you the answer lol
I've noticed that the AI answers on Google have become more and more like this in the last weeks. It usually just tells me how to find something. That said, I don't use Google as my main search engine anymore. I've used DuckDuckGo for over a year. It's... Fine.
Worth every drop of water
Thanks AI. Remind me how many megawatt hours your model consumed to create?
@Grok is this real?
This is my favorite one yet
Ah yes, the ouroboros is complete.
Pretty soon it's going to just link to Google.
"And just like that they were able to save the water for the people." /s
We now all live in a recursive loop.
You say that every. single. time.
We now all live in a recursive loop.

Sadly no termination condition.
