It's nuts. Politics and governance in the US have degenerated into bottom barrel reality TV. Even life-long trailer park residents would find these people tacky. I love this shit. All that money and power is supposed to make them deliriously happy, and they just keep getting more and more miserable.
If we wait long enough, they'll probably all kill themselves. The problem is, they'll kill the rest of us first. Only when they realized that didn't bring them the joy the expected, will they off themselves.

I’d assume his wife must be horrible for having married him in the first place, but also Vance was saying “Trump is America’s Hitler” several years ago and it didn’t sound intended to be a compliment. Seems like he’s changed a lot. I feel bad for her.
Nah. He’s been shit since before he became the VP pick. She knows who her husband is. She’s educated, has a career. She could have walked away at any time. She supports him.

This is not commentary specific to her, and I’m not defending her at all with this response, but I do want to note this:
A lot of people hide who they really are to lock in their partners with children, debt, etc. Things like abuse don’t start out on day 1. And we need to be careful with this sort of rhetoric.
