I don't know what happened to @mrsebsin@lemmy.world, but looks like https://sh.itjust.works/c/thefarside (!thefarside@sh.itjust.works) could use someone else to mod / pick up the content stream, which seems to have ended about 3mos ago.
Too bad, because it was off to an amazing start...

Not sure if you've blocked them or their home instance, but the community is definitely still getting posts, mostly by one user.

Thanks for your help. Checking just now, I've not blocked them as a user, nor their instance, nor their respective posting communities. Indeed, when I look at their direct acct, I see plenty of their recent FS posts: https://discuss.online/u/m_f
Oddly, when I look at that same acct, only formatted through my instance, their username seems... reversed? https://piefed.social/u/m_f@discuss.online
Anyway, for some reason all their SMBC comic posts seem to show up everywhere for me. It's just the FS ones that don't. oO
Maybe it's some kind of handshake issue between my instance software (PieFed) and theirs (Lemmy, it looks like)

It's almost like when you produce a daily strip for decades, they won't all be winners.

It's hard to make something more perfect than Cow Tools but it shouldn't stop you from trying.
