I prefer activism over pouting. I just called my reps to ask them to vote No on cloture on the Continuing Resolution. If they know what we want them to do, they are much more likely to do it. It would take 8 dem senators to pass the CR, so they need to ask for something for those votes. Tell them to use what power they have. Make the call, send the email. Then, if you still want to, go for it pout all you want.

Remember: Voting does matter! If everyone votes harder and do activism things will change and fascism will be defeated and all supporters of Trump will suddenly go away.
It's a sound strategy.
