What is the deal Ventolin HFA inhalers (albuterol or salbutamol) containing a 1/2 part that is either ineffective for bronchodilaton or possibly even exacerbates the inflammation?

Something about enantiomers or optical isomers

How the hell is it like the standars rescue when half of it is basically fucking you?

Would it be a better idea to replace that with inhaled salmeterol (LABD)? Ive heard LABD (long acting bronchodialators) are not the best choice for rescue but I also know the same is said of Symbicort and I have come to find that is not the case for myself and it is excellent in that regard. It has me just asking questions now, hitherthereto

  • (S)-salbutamol (sinistra, left)
  • (R)-salbutamol (?)
